Wallpaper Photography

Building platforms and lighting is very important in macro wallpaper photography. My few attempts of my latest wallpaper photography. I have a friend who is very good at lomo wallpapers. Well.... the settings can always be right. But may be, the picture turned out not creative enough. Here are her samples of her work. Using a darkroom and a variety of lights.

Lomo photography by SASA

I tried object photography modeling this morning. And I think it turned out the way I like it!! Yeah!! :D Some tweaking done in the camera and picture shot in RAW format.

Model : White Tablet (Wacom Bamboo Fun)
Camera : Canon 30D
Lens : Tamrom Macro
Lighting : IKEA Mini Spot Lighting (40w)
Flash : N/A

before tweaking the camera. snapping in slow shutter and auto white balance

i got this using a faster shutter. and changed my white balance to counter the orange from the light, higher contrast to bring out the surface color

fast shutter and auto white balance. not a very neat angle from here tho. The display box used as the platform

from here!! a much neater angle, improved contrast, color and sharpness tweak in the camera custom functions. The display box used as the platform

fast shutter, around 1/160 and low ISO at around 100. auto white balance and minimal tweak in the custom functions. The display box used as the platform

A second shot here. same concept but a different angle and tweak. shutter 1/160 and ISO 100. contrast, sharpness, color and whitebalance tweaked. The display box used as the platform

PLEASE TAKE NOTE : NO PHOTOSHOP INVOLVED
